OUR CHALLENGE 14 GUEST DESIGNER AND SPONSOR

..
..
.

All the Shabby girls would like to welcome

-
-

and owner and guest designer

Leslie Guerreo.

Make sure you pop on over and check out some of Leslie's current and past kits and you will see what we mean by gorgeous!

Here is a little about Leslie:

I'm a mother and friend to my two children (boy 7 and daughter 5).

I began scrapbooking prior to the birth of my son when my sister-in-law showed me a scrapbook she was working on.

Growing up I expressed my artistic side by sewing, but once I was introduced to paper crafting, my creativity shifted from sewing to srapbooking.

After years of purchasing scrapbooking supplies from the local scrapbooking store and never finding the newest products, I decided to start my own scrapbook kit club.

As a proud owner of Divine Design Kits, I strive to obtain the greatest and latest products in the scrapbooking world and I might even throw in a few unexpected surprises!

My kits are very affordable as I love to pass on my savings to other fellow paper crafters because I know that we are currently facing major economic difficulties.
----------

Welcome Leslie!

Ww are looking forward to working along side you for our next challenge!!

And we will see you all here tomorrow night for

Challenge 14's reveal!!

JULIE'S STAMPING TUTORIAL

As it is our first birthday
creating a PARTY SET is perfect!

Here is what I created using some of my Purple Onion stamps.

Invite with matching place tag, treat bag and cup cake toppers and party blower.

Here are the steps to make these.

-Load up the Purple Onion Vintage damask background stamp with paint and stamp onto 3 pieces white card. One for the invite and the others to make up the extra bits.

-Once paint is dry ink up the Purple Onion Happy Birthday Border Tape or HBBT for short and stamp across the bottom of the invite piece about an inch up and on another piece which has been cut in half, stamp the birthday strip onto both.

-Mount the invite and the place tag and treat bag topper onto black card. Folding the treat bag topper and place card in half.

-Add to each of these a thin black punched strip under the stamping and a ribbon and bow above it.

-Add some letter stickers, a few punched butterflies and some bling.

-Out of the damask extras punch out several circles and matching black scallops to make the blower and cup cake topper embellies.

-For the blower using some brought one as a template trace onto black bazzill, assemble and embellish.

We are not the only one's having a birthday.

BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP

WHOOHOO...

Are you ready for some blog hopping fun???

Most of the Shabby girls, along with Michelle (our fabulous Sponsor Purple Onion) and Sharon (our fabulous guestie) this month have put together a rak each on their blogs that you could be lucky enough to win by random draw.

plus

There's TWO RAKs here to be won here on LGS as well!!

That means there will be quite a few raks up for grabs.

Now just what do you need to do to be in the running for them??

Here are the details:

Over the weekend, the girls will be popping up a question relating to either the Shabby blog or one of the team members, along with a photo of their rak.

Post a comment on their blog to be in the running for that rak and then find the answer to their question (don't post the answer there!!) because you will need to gather all the answers from each blog (NINE all up) and email them to Julie jacsplace2@iinet.net.au in one email by midnight TUES 13 July(Aust time-so check the clock at the top of our LGS blog if you are not sure)

Here on Shabby you can win one of two raks below!
(Donated by Ant thanks heaps!!)

Post a comment for one and the second will go to a random correct answer email sent to Julie

Oh and make sure you are a follower!!

Its all in good fun!

And lots of chances to win a RAK!

Here is your Shabby blog question.

Name one of three sponsors that have sponsored us twice.

Now pop into the other blogs for the rest of your questions.
(If a blog doesnt have a question up yet...keep checking back as it could be due to time zones)

Hope you have fun blog hopping!!!
